Sommer 2010

Officially it's fall, but unofficially we still have 90s here in DC. That means I am not too late with sharing our summer pictures with you.

First we went to MA in early July right after max turned one. In MA we had Max's baptism - yes, my brother is "official" now (or no pagan anymore as others would say).

And then we went to visit the cold north - Germany. It was quite a difference in temperature, I have to say.

When we got back from Germany, I still had a couple of weeks before school started. I am really glad I am back home with all my friends here even though I miss my Nani, Oma, Grandpa, and Opa.

Snowmaggedon

Today is a dreary day - lots of rain - so I can finally wrap up the pictures from this winter. As you might have heard, DC got a little bit of snow - I loved it. We also have a couple of movies included - one of me dancing with Baby Emily - my doll. And another one of Max from his pre-crawling era. There was a lot of runway from last November until March but now he is a very proficient crawler. Can't wait to have him walk and run with me.

Ladies and Gentlemen - please follow me and watch Snowmaggedon.

Hilton Head

I am back!! Before I revisit this winter and the gazillion tons of snow, let's take a look at our trip to South Carolina. Yep, second year in a row that my parents went to almost the same spot. And, hold on tight, even more shocking - almost a tradition - we went to see our friends Anna, Lei, and Jodie in wonderful North Carolina. We thus start the slideshow with our visit in NC (and trust me, we were very happy to leave Virginia behind us, no love lost there). And then we go to wonderful SC and I will introduce you to the Palmetto state. Fittingly, we stayed in Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head Island (which could also be at Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head Island, but I never got that quite right).

Anyways, we spent quite some time on the beach. Max tried it the first day and didn't like the taste, so he decided it's much better to play with than to eat. I also rode on a pony. She was called mocha - I have a feeling that she wouldn't be called that in Texas, but whatever.

So please come along to our trip.

DSW
