Late May and Early June

Before we are welcoming Number 3, we have kept ourselves busy with a lot of cleaning and organizing.  A lot.  And also a little bit of fun.

On Memorial Day weekend, we ventured to Virginia to Great Falls Park.  Max and Emily enjoyed a little bit of rock climbing and we watched a family carry a canoe for a couple of miles until the water was calm enough for the novices.

Then on Memorial Day, Papa took a very early morning bike ride to the Mall and watch sunrise over the monument and the quiet White House.

Max had his last dance class.

And finally on June 1, we went to Catoctin Mountain right next to Camp David.

 

And as you can see, Emily likes to live dangerous.
